Saving Kitties & Finding Homes
Rescue Kitties is a feral, stray and at-risk cat charity that operates in the Greater Manchester area.
We take in injured, lost and abandoned cats and we are committed to helping cats and kittens that are the most in need.
No case is too hard for us to handle and we provide them with food, love, shelter and the necessary veterinary care to get them back on their paws and on to their forever home.
We never euthanize a cat we can’t fix.
Any cats which need extensive continuous care or treatment will remain with Rescue Kitties to live out their golden years in the comfort they deserve.
In the last year, we rescued approximately 750 cats from all over Greater Manchester i.e. Bury to Bolton, Stockport to Salford, and Trafford to Tameside.
Once a cat or kitten comes into Rescue Kitties they are assessed and their needs met.
This can be the basics of fleaing, worming, neutering and microchipping, but can also mean extensive medical treatment, tests or surgery.
When a cat is ready, the search for their perfect new home begins!

Our Team
Our team currently consists of over 40 volunteers – including admin staff, an adoption team, homecheckers, and supply and donations coordinators.
We rely on people’s goodwill and on the donations we receive from our supporters.
Donations
As you can imagine, trying to rescue 750 cats takes a lot of hard work, dedication and funding to cover all the rescues’ overheads.
